Home automation in the Eastern Townships

Arrive at the cottage and find everything ready

Primary homes, cottages and second homes: some of our finest projects are in the Eastern Townships, around Lake Memphremagog, in Magog, Austin, Mansonville and Potton.

Homes open to the lake and the mountains

In the Eastern Townships, the view is often the centerpiece of the house. Tall windows facing Lake Memphremagog, cathedral ceilings, land that slopes down to the dock: we work in homes built to enjoy the landscape in every season.

Many are second homes, too. You arrive Friday night, leave Sunday, and want to know everything is fine in between. That's where home automation earns its place: warming the house before you get there, turning on the entry lights as you pull in, and checking at a glance that the door is locked and the water is shut off.

What we install most often in the Townships

Your home, even from afar

Warm up the cottage, turn on the lights and check that all is well before you arrive, from your phone. Add Crestron or Control4 and it all comes together in one app.

Shades that frame the view

Lutron motorized shades and drapery facing the lake or the mountains. By day, the view. At night, those big black windows can feel unsettling: the shades lower at sunset and the cottage becomes a cocoon.

Warm, welcoming light

Lutron lighting control (HomeWorks, Ketra, Rania, Lumaris), inside and out, with clean-lined Palladiom keypads.

Music down to the dock

Sonos multi-room audio, from the living room to the deck and the water's edge.

Lake Memphremagog, our second home

On the shores of the lake, we fully upgraded a multi-acre estate in Magog, with its guest houses and main residence: a new Lutron lighting system and Palladiom keypads throughout. In Mansonville, a hilltop home facing the mountains received centralized Lutron lighting with scenes for every moment of the day.

What our clients here value most is peace of mind. For adjustments, we can often help remotely through our after-sales support. See also our approach to lighting and motorized shades.

Frequently asked questions

Can I control my cottage from Montreal?

Yes. Lighting, heating, shades, locks and much more can be controlled from one app, wherever you are.

Do I need to be on site during the work?

No. Our project managers coordinate with your builder and keep you posted. Many of our Townships clients follow their project remotely.

What if the internet is less reliable in the country?

We design the home network to make the most of your internet service, and lighting and shades keep working locally even if the connection drops.

Can you upgrade an older system?

Yes, when the project allows it. In Magog, for example, we replaced the lighting and switches of a property whose equipment was more than 15 years old.
