Home automation in Montreal and Westmount
Beautiful light, from Westmount to downtown
Grand homes in Westmount and Outremont, condos and penthouses downtown and in Griffintown: we create moods that follow your day, while the technology quietly disappears.
Homes with character, condos full of windows
In Montreal, we work in two very different worlds. On one side, the grand older homes of Westmount, Outremont and Town of Mount Royal: beautiful millwork, high ceilings and walls nobody wants to open up. On the other, the condos and penthouses of downtown, Griffintown and Nuns' Island: concrete, glass and light pouring in from every side.
Either way, the goal is the same: a home where a single touch takes you from bright working light to a quiet evening, where music follows you from room to room, and where nothing technical gets in the way of the design.
What we install most often in Montreal
Shades that follow the sun
Lutron motorized shades, blinds and drapery dress the large windows of condos and penthouses. They soften the sun by day, give you privacy at night and move together, silently.
Soft light, no wall of switches
Lutron lighting control (HomeWorks, Ketra, Rania) replaces rows of switches with one elegant keypad and moods ready for entertaining, dinner or winding down.
Music in every room
Sonos multi-room audio and Sonance in-wall or invisible speakers: you hear the music, you don't see the equipment.
Wi-Fi that gets through concrete
In concrete towers and older homes with thick walls, a well-designed Wi-Fi network makes all the difference.

Sun, privacy and the view
In one Griffintown penthouse, almost every window is dressed with motorized shades. Each shade pocket was painted the same color as the window frames, so you notice the view of the Lachine Canal and downtown, not the technology.
That's what we aim for all over Montreal: motorized shades that manage the sun for you, and lighting control that takes over as the day fades.
Neighborhoods we serve
Westmount, Outremont, Town of Mount Royal, the Plateau, downtown, Griffintown, Old Montreal, Saint-Laurent, Nuns' Island and the rest of the island of Montreal. Our office is in Candiac, a few minutes from the bridges, and we also work on the South Shore and in the Eastern Townships.
How a project works
Meeting, design, pre-wiring, finishing by our electricians, programming and training: every project follows the same steps, coordinated by one project manager. See the steps of a project.
Frequently asked questions
Can you add lighting control to an older Westmount home without opening the walls?
Often, yes. Several Lutron systems communicate wirelessly, so existing switches can be replaced with elegant keypads without major work. We'll assess the house with you and tell you honestly what's possible.
Do you work in condo towers?
Yes. We plan the work around the building's rules and coordinate with management on schedules, access and deliveries.
My Wi-Fi is weak in my concrete condo. Can you fix that?
It's a common problem in concrete buildings. We design a Wi-Fi network around your space so every room is covered, and it becomes the foundation for everything else in the home.
Do I need a big room for a home theater?
No. A living room can become a lovely screening room with a screen that drops down, well-placed sound and lights that dim on their own.
