At Adom, we don't sell technology. We create moments: a dinner that lingers, soft music, light that changes with the day. The technology simply fades into the background.
From dream to reality
Adom was founded in February 2013, born of Francis Turgeon's passion for electronics and new technologies. One idea quickly took over: what matters isn't the device. It's how you live at home, thanks to the comfort technology makes possible.
Our goal hasn't changed since: to enhance your everyday life and give you one-of-a-kind experiences in your own home. Hosting that lives up to your home: your guests arrive and the light is perfect. The music surrounds the room without drowning out the conversation, and you can turn it up when the evening becomes a party. The shades come down to create the perfect sense of privacy. You simply enjoy your guests.
Our clients put a great deal of love into the architecture and design of their homes. The comfort has to match. Light should bring out the materials and the art, the technology should stay invisible, and everything should be simple to live with every day.
We take the time to guide you at every step, from the first idea to the final adjustment. We don't believe in limits, only in solutions that live up to your ambitions.

Design, installation, programming and customization
We handle every step, so you only ever deal with one team:
- Design: we review the plans with you, your designer or your architect, and choose the right systems.
- Installation: we coordinate with your electrician and builder so everything is ready at the right time.
- Programming: we create your scenes (Entertain, Dinner, Evening, All Off) and fine-tune them with you.
- Follow-up: after installation, we stay on for years for support, updates and adjustments, often remotely. That's our support service.
Adom also works on projects where technology helps reduce energy use: lights that switch off when nobody is in the room, shades that keep the heat out in the middle of summer.
In Quebec and in Florida
Adom is based in Candiac, at 275 Avenue Liberté. The South Shore is home. We also do a lot of work in Montreal, from Westmount to Griffintown, and in the Eastern Townships, where many of our clients have a country home or a cottage.
In 2020, we expanded to South Florida to serve our Quebec and American clients, from Miami to Palm Beach. Our Pompano Beach office offers the same quality of products and service as in Quebec. See our South Florida page.

Where does Adom work?
Our offices are in Candiac, on Montreal's South Shore, and in Pompano Beach, Florida. We work on projects on the South Shore, in Montreal, in the Eastern Townships and in South Florida, from Miami to Palm Beach.
Do you work with my designer or architect?
Yes, and the earlier the better. We like to review the plans from the start so that lighting, shades and keypads blend with the design, with no visible technology getting in the way.
What happens after installation?
We stay your point of contact. Support, updates and adjustments are often handled remotely, and you have access to your Client Portal.
