Why everything starts with light
Light changes everything in a home. The same room can feel bright and inviting in the morning, then calm and warm in the evening. It isn't about adding more fixtures, it's about atmosphere: several light sources working together, daylight coming through the windows, and shades that control how much comes in.
That's why every Adom project starts with lighting. We design a plan with you, your designer or your architect, then install a Lutron lighting control system that makes every moment simple: one touch, and the house is ready.

Outside, noon light isn't the same as 6 p.m. light. With Ketra, the same is true indoors. These rooms are really lit by Ketra: drag the slider, move from warm to cool white, or change the mood with one touch.

Vibrancy: art at its best
Ordinary lighting has two controls: intensity and color temperature, from warm to cool white. Ketra adds a third that no other system offers: Vibrancy.
White light is a blend of colors. Vibrancy changes the recipe of that blend without changing the white itself: the room stays at 3000K, but the colors of what it lights change. At a low setting, hues are soft and muted. Turn it up and reds, blues and greens grow richer and deeper, and hidden nuances in a painting appear.
For a collection, it's museum-quality lighting: each piece can have its own setting. Vibrancy also brings out fabrics, wood and flowers. It comes with Ketra fixtures (Rania, which makes its white differently, doesn't offer it).

One elegant keypad instead of a row of switches
Lighting control no longer means cluttering walls with dimmers. A single keypad replaces several switches and recalls your favorite scenes. Lutron Palladiom and Alisse keypads come in finishes that suit the design of the room: glass, metal and understated colors.
You can also control everything from your phone, set schedules, or let the lights respond as you walk down a hallway at night. And if you'd like lighting, shades and music together, we can put everything in one app.
Three ways to control light
We choose the approach with you, room by room, and give the plans to your electrician.
HomeWorks and Ketra: the best of Lutron
- Lutron HomeWorks: the brain of the home. Lighting, shades and Palladiom keypads in one system, for residences where every detail matters.
- Ketra: natural light, indoors. It follows the day from warm to cool white, dims down to 0.1% with no flicker, and can shift into color too. For art lovers, its Vibrancy control brings out the colors of a piece without changing the white.
- Rania: downlights and lamps built on Ketra technology, tunable from 1800 K to 5500 K, for natural light throughout the home.
- Lumaris: tape light for cabinets, stairs and coves, with warm, soft dimming.
For a lighter renovation, Lutron also offers RadioRA 3, a wireless option. All of these systems control Lutron motorized shades, so electric light and daylight work together. See also our Lutron page.
From design to service, for years to come
Great lighting depends on installation as much as design. We design the lighting plan with you, your designer or your architect, then we give wiring plans to your electrician, because smart lighting isn't wired like ordinary lighting. Our project managers then coordinate with everyone on site. Adom holds a license and has electricians on staff, so we trim out the dimming and control panels ourselves, the most specialized part of the job.
And we don't disappear after move-in. The same team stays with you for years: updates, remote support, and new needs as your family or your home changes. Can smart lighting be added to an existing home?
Yes. Lutron offers wireless dimmers and keypads, so we replace switches without rewiring the whole house. Rania lamps also fit existing fixtures.
How is Ketra different from regular LED lighting?
Ketra changes the color and warmth of light throughout the day, like natural daylight, and dims down to 0.1% with no flicker. A regular LED bulb always keeps the same tone.
Can my electrician do the installation?
Your electrician can handle the rough wiring. Our project managers coordinate with them, and our own electricians trim out the lighting and control panels, which is the most specialized part.
Can I control my lights from my phone?
Yes. The Lutron app lets you control each room, recall scenes, set schedules and connect remotely. It also works with Siri, Alexa and Google Home.
Can scenes be changed after installation?
Yes, and most of the time you can do it yourself. In the Lutron app, you can fine-tune a scene, reprogram a keypad button or change a schedule in seconds. For bigger changes, we take care of it, often remotely.
