For interior designers
Light that respects your design
You choose every finish, texture and fabric. We make sure the light and the shades bring them out, and that nothing technical gets in the way.
Light, your final material
Light is often treated as a technical question. To us, it's the final material in a project, the one that reveals all the others. The same stone looks cold under a white ceiling fixture and warm under soft, grazing light. A fabric changes color with the time of day. A piece of art disappears or comes alive depending on how it's lit.
Our role is to translate your intentions into moods: clear, natural light by day, warmer and lower in the evening, scenes ready for entertaining, dinner or winding down. And to make sure your client only has to touch one button to get back exactly what you imagined.
What matters to a designer
Matching finishes, everywhere
Palladiom and Alisse keypads, shade pockets, speaker grilles: everything matches your choices, in metal, glass or a custom color.
Shades that dress the window
A solar shade by day to keep the view, a blackout shade at night, drapery for softness and acoustics. Drapery is to a living room what the jacket is to a suit.
Speakers that disappear
No more big speakers with grilles: invisible Sonance speakers plastered into the wall or ceiling or hidden behind wallpaper, or small models lined up with your recessed lights.
The right color of light
With Ketra, light can follow the day, stay true to the colors of your materials and dim down to a very soft glow.

The detail that makes the difference
In a Griffintown penthouse, nearly every window is dressed with motorized shades. Each shade pocket was painted the same color as the window frames, so you see the architecture and the view, not the shade.
That's the kind of detail we like to work out with you from the start. We bring keypad finish samples for your material boards, suggest keypad locations from your elevations, and show you how motorized shades and lighting control work together.
How we work with you
- From the plans: we build a lighting and control plan with you that respects your intent.
- Finishes and samples: Palladiom, Alisse, Lutron shade fabrics and speaker grilles, so you can choose with confidence.
- Coordination: our project managers handle the back-and-forth with the builder and electrician, so you don't have to.
- Final tuning: we fine-tune the scenes on site, with you if you'd like, until the mood is exactly right.
- After installation: we stay close for your client, often remotely through our support service.

Frequently asked questions
Can everything match my finishes?
Yes, and not just the keypads. Palladiom and Alisse come in many metal, glass and color finishes, shade pockets can be painted to match the window frame, and speaker grilles blend in with your recessed lights. We bring samples so you can choose alongside your materials.
Can shades be completely hidden?
Often, yes, if it's planned early: a ceiling pocket makes the shade disappear when it's raised. Otherwise, the headbox can be painted to match the window frame.
Can you fine-tune the scenes with me?
Yes, and we recommend it. Final lighting adjustments happen on site, and your eye makes all the difference.
Do you offer presentations for our team?
Yes. We're happy to present at your office over lunch or a coffee break, with samples to touch.
